Well, I took my 3 mile run as promised. I can’t say I thought about the things I’m thankful for, but I did think about how cold my ears were and how much I hate morning runs.
Thanksgiving at my aunt and uncle’s house was lovely. There were only 8 of us. Very relaxing and mellow. We ate and ate and ate. We played games next to the fire. We visited the neighbors goats. We returned home in the evening and ate more pie. Cody and I put Bugs to bed and played dice next to the fire with our cup of “sleepy time” tea. A perfect end to a perfect day. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to go for another run tomorrow. Night.
Speaking of running, I signed up for the Central Oregon Cascade Relay Race for next Summer. Sometimes it takes a $150 registration fee to get me motivated again. Should be fun running at night and sleeping in a van with however many people. Call me crazy.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
